When I was a young business man back in the mid seventies, part of my job was to call on high school sports programs. While waiting to see a coach in one of the more successful North Georgia high schools—I noticed a poem posted on the wall and it so impressed me that I copied it and kept it for future reference. What great truths this great poem holds—not just for sports but for all aspects of our lives.Winners vs Losers
The Winner is always a part of the answer;
The Loser is always a part of the problem.
The Winner always has a program;
The Loser always has an excuse.
The Winner says, “Let me do it for you;
“The Loser says, “That’s not my job.”
The Winner sees an answer for every problem;
The Loser sees a problem in every answer.
The Winner says, “It may be difficult but it’s possible;
“The Loser says, “It may be possible but it’s too difficult.”
